Since reason, logic, and facts clearly aren't going to save the world, I'm falling back to plan B: inexpert tarot card readings.
Here's your card for the day: the King of Cups.
Just look at this character. He's settled in. He has a nice beverage and a flashlight and he has assumed the "I will wait here until the seas rise and claim us all" position. You can see it on his face. Calm, but determined. It's a face carved from rock. Unmoving. Unmoved.
Is that a ship in the background, off to the right, waiting to rescue him? They might as well cool their heels. He's not going anywhere until he gets what he came for. Maybe he's waiting for his car to be serviced. Maybe he's waiting for his espresso. Doesn't matter.
What does that mean for you today? I dunno.
Well, okay. Um ... be prepared to have your patience tested, I guess. Fortify yourself. Get that beverage. Put batteries in your flashlight. Pay no attention to the waves of entropy lapping at your feet, getting ever higher. Stay the course.
(Though I did draw this card reversed. Which probably means that at some point, you just have to cut your losses and move on, or you'll drown.)
